The month of May in our Centre started with the celebration for the Mother’s Day. 10th May, what a fun day was it for all of us. Children had been preparing for this special day for so long. Children were really very excited for the celebration as their Mummy’s had been invited for this party. As soon as children Mums came for the celebration, our Tamariki were thrilled to see all of them. Children started with dancing on the special songs ‘I love my mummy’, ‘You are my sunshine’ that they prepared for their mothers. After music and dance, there were few games organised for children and their mummy’s. All of them participated in the games with great enthusiasm and enjoyed winning prices for themselves. At the end we all enjoyed yummy morning tea together. Participation of parents in the event boosted our children confidence, sense of belonging and wellbeing.
