Every month we do our Emergency drills. Today our Tamariki contributed to do our lockdown drill. As soon as they heard teachers shouting “Lockdown-Lockdown” they all rushed to the bathrooms to hide themselves. They all stayed there until teachers declared “ We are safe now”. We have noticed that our children are getting familiar to the procedure of lockdown drill as it was our 2nd drill. We are continuing discussions during mat times to get our children familiar with the process of doing drills. Children listened the teacher instructions very well and showed trust in them. Also learned how to be safe if there is an emergency. Ka pai Tamariki ma!
